Plein Aire Group: February 2012
New for 2012, a series of days out in the local, and at times not so local, areas! All selected venues will have the convenience of shelter and loos nearby. We will meet at 10am and re-group at 12.30 for lunch (either picnic or café stop) and sketching can continue for the rest of the day, if desired.
In the case of bad weather it is up to the individual to decide if it is possible to sketch or not, but it has been proven that special effects can result in painting in the cold and wet.
Chosen days will be Wednesdays or Thursdays and they will not be tutored but someone will be leading the group. It is hoped that where transport is needed, those with cars will offer seats, however most venues will be close to public transport.
If you would like to register for this group please contact Clare Weatherill. The dates and venues will be published on the web and in the next newsletter and the group will receive emails about specific arrangements. The first date will be Thursday 23rd February, so mark it down in your diaries.
