Martin Chaffer
After some 35 years making a living as a self-employed photographer I thought that trying to learn to paint would be a stimulating experience for my retirement.
It is, although, apart from going on painting holiday courses with my wife Greta, I don't devote enough time to practice.
Recently I have become very involved with SOFAP, producing the quarterly newsletter and organising events and activities for the members. I'm glad to say that the response has been excellent, and to see the Society flourishing again is a reward in itself.
I hope that this website will mark another step forward in the Society's history.
