I am a graduate of Coventry School of Art in Fine Art (sculpture) and also studied at St Martins.
At that time my work was semi-abstract, multi-media and very large. After a somewhat chequered life I now produce sculpture on a more modest scale using clay, which is then fired or cast, usually in plaster or resin, occasionally in bronze; I can consider commissions.
My starting points are largely classical and mythological, often involving animals, especially horses. Travel in Morocco, Egypt, India and Libya has influenced my work, as has visiting the museums of many cities. I believe that drawing is of the greatest importance to a sculptor.
