Wandsworth is having its Artists’ Open House on the weekends of 1/2 and 8/9 October.
Over 100 local artists are opening their homes and exhibition spaces to the public, including SoFAP members Angela Wilkes and Mandana Khonsari.
Angela Wilkes will be at the Scout Hut in Putney with 10 others the first weekend only.

SoFAP members and all artists living and working in Hammersmith & Fulham are invited to join in this new and exciting opportunity to show their work on Tideway’s Carnwath Road Riverside Hoarding (just north of Wandsworth Bridge) – see SoFAP’s Facebook page video for a view of the site. Several SoFAP members took part in this year’s Pintar Rapido event and very much enjoyed it. It took place over the weekend of 16-17 July, with a public exhibition and sale at Chelsea Old Town Hall. A full report will appear in the next SoFAP Newsletter, but here are some pictures of the event:

BBC One is planning a new series which will see amateur artists being mentored by some of the leading names in visual art. School of Art is a primetime series scheduled for later this year and they are looking for anyone with a huge talent and enormous potential to apply.
The programme is open to anyone who over 16 and a resident in the UK.
Applications close on 10 June, so act fast.
