Pia Descamps
Pia’s paintings reflect her extensive travelling,
her keeness for strong, coloured, symbolic perspectives and her close-up glimpse of beauty.
Her eye for multiple shapes and her love of light sources forge her approach to a subject, and lead to the creation of an abstract or realistic work. She is mainly self-taught.
Pia is Austrian-Hungarian, born in Belgium, has lived in Rio de Janeiro, New York and, since 1987, in London.
