About the Artist: Caroline Wigart
Caroline Wigart is a ceramic artist whose background in 3D and lighting design informs her exploration of light and landscape through clay. Working primarily in stoneware, she focuses on glazing processes, embracing the effects of heat, pressure, and fire. Influenced by makers including Akiko Hirai, her work values expression and material response over perfection.
Inspired by country walks and the coastline of her native Sweden.
