About the Artist: Martin Burrough
Professional artist since completing the Portraiture diploma at The Heatherley School of Fine Art in 2011. Figurative artist, working from a studio in Chelsea. Main focus is commissioned portraits in oil but work also includes landscapes, still life and life-drawing. Media used, apart from preferred oil, includes acrylic, pastels, gouache, charcoal and graphite. Run the monthly plein air outing for the Society of Fulham Artists and Potters. Active member of the Lots Road Group formed in 2014 which mounts an annual "themed" portraiture exhibition, featuring a written narrative to accompany each painting.
