Volunteer Incentives and Service Requirements
SOFAP has updated its volunteer incentives to ensure they fairly reflect the commitment of those who help run the society.
• The Chair and Potter’s Chair now receive full fee exemption and Honorary Membership after completing two consecutive membership years in post.
• All other committee members will receive fee exemptions after completing one full membership year in their role.
• Secondary roles may receive concessions depending on their responsibilities.
• The Committee may also reimburse submission fees for members who provide essential support at events.
These changes help ensure that incentives reward sustained contribution and support the long‑term running of the society.
