At the age of 13, I won a Place to the Art Institute of Chicago as a result of a citywide junior school competition. I have been pursuing art ever since. After my youngest child was in nursery I studied painting at Morley College and, then went to Sir John Cass to study sculpture. After that I worked in my own studio in all mediums but mainly in stone. My sculptures are in homes in England, the U.S.A. and in France. When I felt unable to continue working in stone I returned to my first love of painting in oil. I studied at the Kensington Chelsea Schools, The Royal College of Art and I now paint at Heatherly's School of Art one day a week.
