Come and join one of our free monthly outings!

Take part in one of our plein air days and you will enjoy the freedom and fun of being out and about in London with other SoFAP members and guests. Our artists have a wide variety of experience we welcome newcomers.

Bring your favourite medium: Oil paints, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, crayons or just pencils and a sketchbook.

We meet at 10.00am and work through till tea at about 3.00pm when we show off our work and discuss what we have created: it’s all part of the day.

Outings are scheduled for the first week of each month, on a Tuesday or Thursday. We avoid December and January! Upcoming events are listed below. Note the dates in your diary.

The sessions are guided rather than tutored – lots of hints and tips are exchanged. Most venues are easily reachable by public transport.

Full details of each outing go out via email a week in advance of the day. If you plan to attend, please just drop a short note to Martin Burrough at pleinair.sofap@gmail.com.
